Ed Traversari

Ed Traversari climbed the ranks of the concert-promoting ladder and ultimately became the third partner of the successful DiCesare-Engler Productions and ultimately own Traversari Productions LLC. Ed attended Robert Morris University where he served as student activities president and booked bands and acts to various events. This knack would serve him well as the experience landed him a job with DiCesare-Engler Productions, Inc. in Pittsburgh in 1975 at only 22 years old. Traversari joined the firm as a production assistant, but served as a jack-of-all-trades as he picked up and drove bands to gigs, answered phones and bought ads for events. As his experience mounted, Ed went from talent buyer to marketing director to production and eventually general manager of the Chevrolet Amphitheatre at Station Square. In 1998, DiCesare-Engler Production was purchased by SFX Entertainment and then again by Clear Channel/Live Nation. Ed stayed on in marketing and operations until in 2007 when he opened Traversari Productions LLC. That same year he began working as a Professional in Residence at Point Park University teaching Sports, Arts and Entertainment Management. Traversari Productions LLC continues to promote events around Pittsburgh at Heinz Hall, Seven Springs Resort and The Amphitheatre at Station Square while also education budding minds about SAE management at Point Park University from where he also earned his masters degree.
