Jack "Johnny Angel" Hunt Early Years and Starts the Cordells 01

When he was in 7th grade at Oliver High School, Jack "Johnny Angel" Hunt's parents allowed him to take trumpet lessons. The only problem was that he wanted to play the drums.

Johnny’s first band was the Cordells. They recorded their first record in 1966 with Steel Town Sound Records. The record is a collectible and it’s very popular in Europe where the The Cordells played all over the area.
